The new SEXUAL HEALTH ENHANCED SERVICE has now replaced the existing individual services for EHC supply and Chlyamydia Screening and Treatment.
These two elements are still included as part over the wider new service, and the upper age limit for EHC supply has been removed.
The new service also includes: Fee Pregnancy Testing for women aged 24 and under, Free condom supply for 13-24 year olds via the C-Card scheme, and improved advice and signposting on a range of sexual health issues.

HOW DO I TAKE PART?
An initial roll-out took place in April 2010, and around 75 pharmacist attended. Accreditaion consists of 3 parts:
1) Completion of the CPPE "Safeguarding Children 2009" module (ref.38906)
2) Completion of the PGD training for EHC and Chlamydia Treatment. For those who still need this, please contact Ian Small at NHS Norfolk ian.small@norfolk.nhs.uk Tel. 01603 257049. Ian will either arrange a visit to train you individually, or if enough people come forward will arrange another evening session.
3) Attendance at a session covering the service elements and forms etc. Another of these sessions is expected to be announced shortly.
