Urgent Care

There are a number of different primary care clinical services that operate from Hemel Hempstead Hospital that may be accessed by patients in West Herts.

 

For patients to access the GP out of hours service run by Herts Urgent Care (HUC) patients need to  phone HUC to make an appointment on 03000 33 33 33 and should not walk in to be seen.

 

  • GP Service  - West Herts GP-led health service – open 8am -8pm 365 days per year. Patients may or may not be registered patients with this practice. Where patients need to see a GP they may make an appointment (if they are registered) or walk in during the service hours.

 

  • Urgent Care Centre  open 24 hours per day every day. For patients requiring treatment for sprains, strains, fractures, wounds ,scalds, burns, minor head injuries,. Has X ray and treats infants and children. Patients may walk in.

 

  • GP Out of Hours service – The Herts wide out of hours GP service that operates in the evenings and at weekends and is run by Herts Urgent Care.(HUC) Patients need to  phone HUC to make an appointment on 03000 33 33 33
