Responsible Pharmacist

On October 1st 2009 the regulations relating to Responsible Pharmacist will come into force.  

There are four key areas the law covers:

1. Display a notice
2. Pharmacy records
3. Pharmacy procedures
4. Absence from the pharmacy

Devon LPC has prepared the documents listed below;

A toolkit has been sent to all registered pharmacists and this and other information can be accessed from the Responsible Pharmacist website. CPPE,the NPA and C+D have launched resources to support this change.

The RPSGB has also released guidance on Responsible Pharmacist requirements.
