Nick Harvey MP visits Sainsburys Pharmacy in Barnstaple

Nick Harvey, Liberal Democrat MP for North Devon, visited the 100 hour pharmacy at Sainsburys in Barnstaple earlier in July.  He spent some time with the pharmacist John Green who presented the services currently commissioned by NHS Devon.  Nick was particularly interested in the Chlamydia screening service and the potential benefit of pharmacy providing advice and treatment for minor ailments.

Nick signed the pharmacy charter and promised to write on behalf of the LPC and the profession locally on any issues particularly concerning community pharmacy in Devon.
