Essential Services

EPS2 - NHS Peterborough

In preparation for EPS2; pharmacies in receipt of payment for operating the EPS1 should be operating the system on receipt of bar coded prescriptions.  If the system is slow then pharmacists need to contact their system suppliers to ensure it operates at a speed which does not interfere with the efficient operation of the dispensary.  To report any quality of bar code issues the contact for Peterborough PCT is Chris Roberts.

Deployment of PharmaBase:  The PSNC has started to deploy PharmaBase to pharmacies within the Cambs & Peterborough LPC area.  The initial deployment will provide access to the PSNC Contract Workbook module.

All independent pharmacy contractors and branches of small chains will receive a letter which contains their logon details.  CCA and AIMp member company pharmacies will receive their longon details from head office (unless the individual company has asked for individual letters to be sent to pharmacies).  Follow link for more information
